WHAT IS
MIFTAAH ONLINE?

The objective of the online seminar is to provide our students an in-depth understanding of the various sciences of Islam. While the focus is on the Arabic language, we aim to develop our students with a full view of our tradition. Therefore we have 6 departments working to develop a complete and holistic curriculum. The academic year is divided into three semesters. Each semester will have a minimum of 3 course offerings.

22 courses are required to be completed in order for a student to graduate from the Miftaah Online Seminary. Each department has its own track to earn a certificate of completion. Students will also be given a certificate at the completion of each semester. Student transcripts are available upon request.

* Graduation is not a requirement. A student may pick and chose any course and join for any one semester.

What our students say

It was amazing experience Subhanallah. I was very reluctant initially to start Arabic learning journey as I am focusing on hifdh but Alhmadulillah for guidance and recommendation from a friend. May Allah reward her. The concepts are broken done into easy concepts for everyone to understand and drills make them soak in well. Learning gems from Mufti sahab not just about the topic but overall how should we be a better version to meet our Allah. I loved. May Allah reward our teachers and team involved to put everything together and making it easy for us

Afiya Qureshi, Mumbai

I am so glad that Allah guided me to Miftaah. They truly make seeking knowledge such a fulfilling and accessible experience. I was able to connect with sisters from around the world with shared goals of seeking knowledge. The topics were all very interesting and relevant. You can tell every instructor truly strived hard to make the topics comprehensible. Never received any judgement from instructors or students about needing to repeat a concept or answering incorrectly. I appreciate every single instructor for their time and may Allah reward them for their efforts. I recommended Miftaah to all of my friends! :)

Mawaddah Mohamed, Texas

Miftaah has truly been the key to bridging the gap between my personal and my spiritual life as a knowledge seeker. The schedule, notes, recorded classes, administrative staff and educators all work in unison to ensure success. The educators are doing a phenomenal job in creating an enjoyable learning experience relevant to current times. I truly enjoyed and learnt a lot from all of my courses so far. In Sha Allah, I am deeply encouraged to keep at it and complete the program. May Allah swt be pleased and accept the efforts of the Miftaah team and the students and grant us success in this life and the next. Ameen.

Shaliza Mohammed, Virginia

My experience with Miftaah has been nothing short of transformative. Through this program, I’ve gained immense Islamic knowledge. Knowledge that has not only deepened my understanding of the deen but has also inspired a lifelong love for learning. What I appreciate most is that the journey doesn’t end; I’m still growing, still learning, and still being beautifully challenged every step of the way.

Being a student of Islam through Miftaah is a profound honor. It’s a privilege to sit at the feet of such incredible teachers and scholars whose sincerity, clarity, and wisdom continue to shape me spiritually and intellectually. InshāAllah, I look forward to continuing this journey and completing my degree with Miftaah.

Maria Nasir, new york

My experience with the Miftaah Online program was truly amazing. It exceeded my expectations of what an online Islamic course should be. It gave me a deep appreciation for how scholars approach legal rulings, and I came away feeling that this knowledge is essential for Muslims, especially those living in the West. The instructor was exceptionally kind and engaging, making the class interactive and enjoyable. We were given detailed notes after each session, which was a huge help especially since note-taking isn’t my strong suit. The PowerPoint slides provided clear summaries of each lesson, which made reviewing easy. The quizzes and exams weren’t difficult, but they were effective in keeping me accountable and reinforcing what I learned.

Omar Sabbagh, West Virginia

Alhamduilah I had a wonderful experience. I already recommended this course to my best friend. In Sha Allah I want to continue taking courses with Miftaah Institute. What I loved most was the non pressure approach when it comes to assignments, quizzes and exams. My instructor was very approachable and explains the course content in a simple way.

I loved everything about my experience the learning experience was like no other the teachers them selves by the will of Allah sabhanawataala were used in a way by Him that I can’t explain but I just know that I hope for more chances and learning experiences the way I feel only Allah can understand! Wish I could say more! JazakAllah khair !
