The Art of Asking: The Chapter of Dua’ From Sahih al-Bukhari
Our Prophet ﷺ Dua’ is the essence of worship; the very purpose for which mankind was created. No matter how far one reaches in life or how close one is to Allah, Dua’ is the one thing that every Muslim will continue to be in need of. Our Prophet ﷺ taught us extensively about the etiquettes, mannerisms, virtues and types of Dua’s. The Art of Asking is a study of the Chapter of Dua’ (Kitab al-Da’awat) from Sahih al-Bukhari. Weaved together brilliantly, Imam al-Bukhari’s genius is witnessed in his selection and organization of the most important Hadiths on the topic. Students will cover select portions of the chapter and go through a comprehensive study of Dua’ based upon the statements of the Prophet ﷺ himself.

Shaykh Abdullah Waheed was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. He commenced his studies at the age of 10 in Toronto, Canada where he went to memorize the Quran. Shaykh Abdullah specialized in Tafseer of the Quran. Shaykh Abdullah spent years to study the details and beauty of our Holy book since understanding and mastering the language of Holy Quran was always the primary goal. Shaykh Abdullah is serving as an Instructor at Miftaah institute and is also the Director of Islamic Affairs at Flint Islamic Center. Sheikh Abdullah travels across North America for khutbas, workshops, and seminars.
