The aspiration of every believer is to be the closest one can be to Allah ﷻ, and He ﷻ tells us in vivid detail what the best of his servants look like. From their devotion to Allah ﷻ to their mercy to the creation, they are in a class of their own, near to Allah ﷻ and worthy of being followed. Model Servitude is a detailed study of the last passage of Surah al-Furqan in which Allah talks about the “Servants of the Most Merciful” (‘Ibad al-Rahman). Students will study their qualities in detail, learning about each one and supplementing it with stories of the righteous along with actionable steps to reach this favored group of servants.
